By the way, I just realized that it's reporting the screen size as 15.6" with the 1600x900 resolution....hmm...
-
Surprised no one has commented....I would think the opportunity to have a 1600x900 screen would be appreciated, the full high gloss black front would be despised (for it's fingerprints and de-contenting), and the overall price for the content would be appreciated.
I talked to a dell rep on the phone and they didn't negotiate on this except to give me free shipping. -
-
But I guess that is a fairly vague term. -
Looks like they offer it without leather now! I know some people really didn't like the leather on the Studio XPSs.
-
When is the fingerprint free version coming out ? LOL
-
I hope they post some pics of the 15.6" screen. If it doesn't look odd on the laptop, I'd rather have it if the colors aren't over saturated like the RGBLED and it offers 1080p.
I wonder if it comes in matt black now, without gloss? They only say High-Gloss on one of the options. -
Matte black rubberized would be great, though kind of out-of-line with their design philosophy.
I really like that they are offering the 1600x900 now. It was kinda silly to just have 1366x or, for an extra few hundred dollars, 1920.
Dell just started offering some new parts on the 1640
