I would like to know as well if the "stereo mix" is back?
If so do you still have function of both headphone jacks?

I have done the xp driver swap and it worked but I lost one of my headphone jacks.

Well, I don't think Sterep Mix is back with this Driver or at least I don't see that option anywhere in my system now after installing these new drivers.. And I don't see any difference either in sound quality or whatever.. or may be I am not noticing the enhancements / differences from the previous driver.

Rather than posting a new thread (sorry) is it me or is there limited things you can change with the software for the Sigmatel software?

I'm on Vista 64bit and coming from a gaming rig with a Creative XFi card that had a fair amount of options I feel like once it's installed all you can change is the effects?

So I'm just guessing that this new drive did nothing at all!

Sigmatel sucks. I really wished Dell wouldn't cut corners on its premium laptop. I can't use Audacity now.
