I just bought a new Corsair Force F80 (80GB) off ebay and put it in immediately after I receive it...and wow, what an upgrade in terms of speed and performance! If you are still on the fence and still thinking about whether or not an ssd-upgrade is worth the money or not, I am here to say YES YES YES! throwing an ssd in is like removing the bottleneck on your system's performance. My system now boots up faster and the great things are: the system runs a lot quieter, apps open up faster, installations are faster, and...everything else is snappier too. I am happy with my purchase and I am impressed with the new found speed.

p/s: I paid $152 (including shipping) to get this drive (275mb/s write and 285mb/s read) and I am planning to throw the slow seagate 500GB 7200RPM back in as storage drive to replace the optical drive very soon!

Yep, I could never go back to a normal hard drive.. they add a huge bottleneck to most modern systems.
