    From the website, i understand that my card is {Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 Dual Band 802.11a/g 54Mbps Wireless Mini Card}

    Am using a XPS M1210 Windows XP. Is it possible to buy a new N card for my laptop? Thanks

    You can almost certainly use a full-height 4965ABGN, maybe even the 5100/5300. Should be plug and play (of course, you still need to get the driver).
