I did a clean install of Win 7 on my L702x. Tried to get rid of all partitions and now I have 15 GB of unallocated space that I can not add to C drive. Any suggestions would be greatly appriceated?

You need to allocate that space and add it to the C-drive, or to another data partition if that's what you want.
I used Partition Wizard to make my OS partition bootable, then deleted the Dell recovery partition. I created two data partitions, and all the space freed up by the deleted recovery partition was allocated to the new partitions.
I left the Dell diagnostic partition intact, as it's tiny (only about 100 MB) and might be useful. -
The easiest (and cheapest) way to do this is at the beginning of the Windows install. If you don't want to reinstall now, you'll need to save an image of you current install, fix the partition issue, then restore the image. You could use Imagex for this, which is part of the free Windows Advanced Installtion Kit (WAIK), or possibly buy Partition Magic or a similar program.
Note that the following procedure assumes you don't want to keep the Dell recovery partition or create a Windows bitlocker partition!
To create a single partition when installing windows, follow the instructions below
On the What kind of installation do you want? Screen, choose Custom (Advanced). Windows displays a list of drives and partitions.
1. Click Drive Options (Advanced)
2. Select each partition on the drive on which you want to install Windows and delete it. Be sure you delete the partitions on the correct drive if you have two hard drives.
3. Click New to create a new partition in the unallocated space. Leave the size offered by Windows in place and click Apply.
4. Windows warns that it might create additional partitions for system files. Click OK.
5. This will generally result in two partitions:
Partition 1: System Reserved, 100Mb, System
Partition 2: (no description) (the rest of the disk)Gb, Primary
6. Delete Partition 1 to remove the system partition, leaving unallocated space.
7. Created a new partition in the unallocated space, resulting in a 100 Mb primary partition.
8. Delete Partition 2, leaving unallocated space.
9. Select Partition 1 and click Extend. Set the size as high as it will go before clicking Apply. Theres now a single Partition 1 that takes the entire disk.
10. Click Next to install Windows on partition 1. -
I used Partition Wizard, from bootable ISO, and saving and restoring an image of Windows was not necessary. But, of course, there are many ways to do partitioning.

Thanks all, with partition master and a little patience the problem was solved. The clean install combined with the 750 GB Momentus XT works great.

Now I wish I knew why the GPU seems to run at a steady 55c.
