What luck. My third Dell in 8 months arrived with various cosmetic issues.
My so-called "new" XPS 15 came with some bonuses:
1. Battery pack has an edge that was bent/melted and is now mishapen and doesn't sit in the compartment properly.
2. Scratches on bezel (bottom-right hand corner).
3. Right-hand hinge on display is seperating from the rear panel (I can actually see inside).
4. Wobbles on glass desk (either feet are uneven or case is warped).
And of course some nice bright dead pixels (I don't blame Dell for these however as it is fairly common).
Within 20 minutes of opening this I received an RMA. I also have the option of having a new one sent but this has happened far to often. Both the 15z laptops I received were damaged in similar ways.
Anyone else experiencing this? I swear they are sending me refurbs...

mine was fine except the stickers, they look like a child applied them.

and OP just go complain with your warrenty since you JUST got it and what not
Edit: under closer examination I have found 1 chip on the edge lcd cover :[ I have NEVER moved this laptop once I set it up -
I had no problems. There was a pixel or two that were stuck on bright green or some other bright colour, but I gently massaged them with a microfibre cloth and then they operated normally.
Did your XPS 15 arrive with scratches or damage?
