The XPS notebooks on Dells own homepage and that of Bestbuy/Amazon seem to be of different models.
Supposedly Dell is selling their latest laptops at a higher price but it would seem that the ones offered by the latter come with a 6 cell lithium battery instead of 9.

    Bestbuy
    Dell

Seeing as that the batteries are built in and non-detachable this might be a big concern for those looking to buy one.
Is the 120 dollar premium worth it for the extra battery life? also does anyone know whether the batteries will be self upgradable?

Why they chose to do this is beyond me

I am pretty positive that a Dell rep posted on here that it is the same battery in both machines and Best Buy just has their specs wrong.

The Dell laptops sold at Best Buy are often configured lower than the ones that you can order on the Dell website. The ones at Best Buy also usually don't have any Dell warranty.
