I them on bestbuy.com but when calling a local store, they say they are online only. I know CompUSA and HHGregg doesn't carry Dell. We don't have a Fry's around here. Any other ideas where you can see these?

microcenter, some bestbuys carry them...remember the kids who work at bestbuy make $8 a hour and have no clue what they are talking about, i know the bestbuys around me carry both 1340 and 1640 models. 899 and 999 respectively

Man, I can't believe how hard it is to get in touch with the people at BB in the PC department. Either the phone operators try to hijack you and not want to transfer you, or if you do get transferred, it just rings and rings and rings. I've tried 3 different stores and all are the same thing. damn

I used to work at BB both in PCs and Geeksquad.

We had a name for people who tried to call in: "crazies"

Thats because you're crazy if you think I'm going to answer the phone when me and the only other PC guy in the store have like 5-6 people asking us what the differences are between compaq and hp. We know that you're just checking inventory and prices, and you can do that on the website. /rant :p
