This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Do dell custom build laptops or not (UK)

    I am confused. I've heard you can build your own system but all I find on the website are the fixed models.
    If I search google for a laptop with a particular graphics card example 'dell radeon 5650' there is a link to the dell website showing laptops with that card.

    Dell Notebook Mobility Radeon HD 5650

    But I can't find those laptops from the dell home page.
    And next to those model names is a code/model number in brackets which the fixed models don't have. Which Probably means they are custom built.

    I didn't know which system you wanted. The link is for the XPS 15... but it does show that you can customize it.
