Hi there![]()
I can't seem to find a docking station to the XPS M1710 at Dell's websiteIs there one for the XPS M1710 ???
-
Dell does not have proprietary docking stations for any notebooks BUT the Latitude line.
You will want to look at 3rd party docks from such companies as Kensington and Belkin. -
There is one, a proprietary docking station limited to DELL I think
I found these two :

Though there might be more and at a better price. -
Okay
So this (Dell Part Number: PR01X) ...

... does not work with the XPS M1710 as described in the link ? -
Do you have a long, thin and rectangular looking connector on the bottom of your PC?
-
The truth is that I have not recieved the notebook yet but from the owners manual the XPS M1710 does have a docking connector. So yes.
-
Well, I'll be, it does support a docking station:
The docks Mujtaba mentioned should work. -
For some strange reason both

are not sold here in Europe. I dont know why ???
I am mostly interested in the 310-8555. -
I bought the model that's designed for the Precision M90 from Dell Sweden, works perfectly.
The only thing you need to be careful about actually, is that you get a 130W power supply. -
Could you be so kind telling the model or part number ? -
Does the Dell PR01X D-Series D/Port Replicator work with the XPS M1710 ???
