I have got both 64 bit & 32 bit each burned to a bootable disc. But, before I even try, do I need some type of a product key to play around with the public release beta? If so how do I get one?

Thanks for the reply Fountainhead
I now have a key but would I assume the key has a timer on it as well? Which way is the better way to go? Rearm or product key? -
Product Key. Rearm just buys you some more time, but Product Key will give you the most time. Aug. 1, 2009 is when the Windows 7 Beta 1 will be disabled. If you choose to rearm and later use the product key, it makes no difference as Aug. 1, 2009 is the day the beta will be disabled.
HOWEVER there are methods to kill the timer in Windows 7 Beta 1 so that with or without product key, you can still run it past the Aug. 1, 2009 date. -

Eeek, thanks for the catch. Aug. 1, 2009 is the expiry date.

Where do we get the key at?
-
Windows 7 Beta Download Page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/beta-download.aspx
Choose your version, there will be a sign up form that you fill out and you get the key. You... didn't download your Windows 7 beta from Microsoft didn't you... -
