    Do outlet items have tracking numbers when they are shipped? It's been 3 days and it still says data unavailable. On the other hand, the S2009W I ordered with the XPS sale event had a tracking number the moment it shipped.

    Call Dell up. Thats how I got my tracking #. They dont seem to be as diligent in updating the Outlet orders.

    Mine had a shipping number...but yeah call dell, that's the way to go.

    Seems they are hit and miss for shipping numbers for the outlet stuff.

    all their stuff ships from fedex... go to their site and run a 'track by reference number"... the reference number is your order number.

    Whenever I order a machine from the outlet (up to 4 so far), I end up getting the tracking number after I receive the computer.

    Oh wow thanks! I just got my tracking number from that... and apparently nobody was home for the delivery. Ugh... I might have to wait until the weekend to pick it up since everyone in the house works during delivery times! *fumes*

    if they left a door tag, you should be able to call in and have them hold it at the home delivery office for pickup. actually, you shouldn't even need a door tag. i knew i wouldn't be home for my delivery so i called ahead and had them hold it before even attempting delivery.
