I am getting mixed answers. Can someone who has actually ordered this system answer it? Thanks.

    90w for 1647, 130w replacement is for 1645 only.

Have you experienced any issues with the 90w?

The 90 watt adapters tend to get very hot and are marginal at best. If you have any problems contact Dell and try to get it upgraded to a 130 watt adapter.

Will using a 130w on a 1647 do any damage? Will it even use the extra power and potentially help throttling?

It will not damage. It will run cooler, charge your battery faster, and other great things.

So the 130W AC Adapter that is used to help the 1645 will actually also work totally fine with and help the 1647?

Yep, everyone here is completely correct! 90w shipped and I rang up to get the 130w because it was getting too hot and now I use both! 90w for travelling.

I also bought a car charger off amazon, that works too surprisingly! I was fairly hesitant but for £20 I thought why not! It's from SmartpartsUK incase you need one!

Good to hear about 130w being the way to go -luckily have a spare 130w I'll use on my replacement 1647 which is being built (although they are shipping it with a 90W despite me asking for a 130W)
So I too will have the 90W / 130W combination.
