Does the XPS M1530 come with the ExpressCard Travel Remote?

All right, I've just ordered an XPS M1530 on Sunday night; I just missed the $200 coupon, but I got the gift card and the $300 off $1500, so I'm happy. However, in my order confirmation, no media remote shows up.

I was under the impression from the number of reviews which had the media remote in it that it came standard. I did ask the salesperson, and she told me that they did not come standard, and that I would have to select it in the Media Center option. I of course ordered Vista Premium, but she told me that that was not the Media Center option and that it was under TV Tuners - I did check, but it wasn't there. I decided not to press the issue and order anyway.

I know it's only $20 and that I probably won't use it, but it would be a nice little gimmick to have.

So, if it's not in my order confirmation, should I expect to get it nonetheless?

If not, then should I call in and pressure them to send me one? I hear legendary stories of how Dell salespeople bend over backwards, but mine didn't seem to give me any slack.

On a related note, the $200 gift card they promised me didn't show up in the order confirmation either. I sent them an e-mail 24 hours ago or so and they haven't responded. Should I call shenanigans and give them a phone call? Or is this normal?

Sorry if the Media Remote question has been asked before or doesn't warrant a thread; I've looked for the answer and can't seem to find anything definitive.

I did the same thing you did. The sales person told me it did .... but can someone confirm this for us? :)

The remote is part of the standard equipment that comes with the M1530 according to the Dell website. (If you go to the XPS detail site and look at the "slide show" it will tell you all the equipment.)
(BTW I nearly got the same answer on the phone from a sales rep though.)

Regarding the $200 gift card...you don't get a straight answer for that either. You would have to wait and then complain.

Thank you kindly, Urdypooh. Yeah, I figured that about the $200 gift card. Hopefully they'll forget, I can give 'em hell, and they'll give me like a $300 gift card.

I'm just annoyed because if the coupon had still worked, I could have gotten the T7700 and the 7200 RPM 160GB HDD for only $25 more. :( Don't suppose I can talk them into that for free.

No, the turkeys. I'm probably going to give them a call in the morning if they haven't answered my e-mail by then.
