Even overclocked to 800/1050, my GPU temps never exceed 79C. This is at around 22C ambient and no external cooler (though I did remove the dust filter and upgrade thermal paste). It also only reaches 79 when running FurMark + Prime95. When running normal games it usually sticks to the high 60s. I've never had my GPU throttle, ever. I have had my CPU throttle, if the temp exceeds 84C, but only when running FurMark + Prime95 for extended periods, never during normal use.
