    Hi,

I went to Best Buy and pressed the Power Button on the XPS m1530 and it gave me a "click" feedback just like the Dell Media button beside it.

The one I own currently own has no click feedback on the Power Button, and feels mushy instead, but my Dell Media button has the click feedback. I think someone told me that this was normal, but after messing with the one at Best Buy, it doesn't seem so.

It wouldn't make sense for the power button to feel mushy like the mouse buttons.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Mine clicks, they "should" click but of course not all computers are created equal so some many not.

The ribbon cable (connector) for the media console (board with light up media buttons) is in the way.

Just remove the media console and re-seat the cable.

It's happened a few times to me, when I was changing the keyboard and other bits inside the laptop.

Mine does click..but its like a *hard* click..hard to describe.

I guess, I would consider it normal. I never really thought about it before.. ;)
