I've just recieved my second L702x today and this also has a loose power jack and is very wiggly. Are they all like this or am I just unlucky?

Mine isnt LOOSE but you dont need much force to push it in and out, but tbh i think its just a general design fault. I dont move my xps around much but its never come out by itself before.

There is a thread opened for this issue. Mine is firm so I guess you should contact Dell customer support dept

Mine is loose, had the AC port on my laptop replaced by a Dell tech, still no difference.

There is a few threads on Dell's own site and there has been no fix found for the issue yet.

For some reason a 120 Watt Dell power adapter fits really snug into the jack.

Same as Harry's laptop. Not loose and not tight enough. Had no problems with it.

Mine is not too lose but it doesn't seem to have a perfect fit, easy to wriggle around and comes out rather easily. Hasn't been a concern though since if I'm connected to AC power I'm probably not moving around.

L501x, and 15z both have solid ac connectors.
