    Fellow notebookreviewers,

I have a XPS1530 with 8600mGT and use 177.79 drivers. My question izzz if one of ya'll know wich driver is better because I intend to update if there is a better driver, wich performs better in some games. :)

Better Driver ? then you need to try it for yourself mate :D because i prefer balanced performance and Quality so i prefer drivers that offer me that ( also stability :D )

    so i prefer 180.48 or 179.28

for these you can get them @ Laptopvideo2go.com

I've heard that 180.48 is buged. That your laptop stucks when it's in sleepmode or something and heating problems, never tried the 179.28 drivers though. any advice :) if however the 180.xx series are better, I will update to a 180.xx driver.

All of 180.x drivers released so far have sleep issues, I don't recommend using them.
NVIDIA's official notebook drivers are recommended.

how good are those new official drivers anyways. Do they perform similar to a 180.xx version and are they better then the 177.79 drivers.

Looks like laptopvideo2go is going to be obsolete soon...

check laptopvideo2go forums, people over there are obsessed with updating drivers and benchmarking the latest versions ;). If there is a problem, you'll find it there.
