I was researching dual booting vista and xp and realised there were many problems with drivers and audio for xp support. Finally i came across some useful sites and the audio problem has been fixed.

These are the links to the drivers for WinXP (Download both and they should extract into the same folder):

I will have a try dual booting tomorrow and see how it goes.

xp can be finicky to set up wireless just screw with it a bit under start-my network places and eventually you'll get it. My old laptop says its not connected but still works fine. Its kind of weird. It's not set up as wireless but still gets wireless.

alright, i tried again and still no luck on putting vista and xp on different partitions.

Is this what the partitions are meant to look like before you go into the bios and change from AHCI to ATA?

When i go an install XP it only shows up with the free space in my vista partition. I reserved 80gb for XP but doesn't show up when installing XP. Any ideas?
