Well, if you did search everywhere on the net you would have found it.
Running a dual boot on an M1730 is no different than any other pc, just need the drivers for each OS.
Seek and ye shall find.

Thanks for ur fast the reply. I was going to use the one u sent me but the problem is I read in a lot of threads that there is a problem when u shrink the disc specially with dell laptops. So did it work with u or not
-
Shrink the disc how? You mean partitioning the HDD? I had no problem with it, but it really depends on the size of your hard disk.

I have 2x160 HDD So which one should I use to install the xp in. is it the same one that has vista or the other one or it doesn't make any difference???
-
You should use the first HDD, and just use the second for programs/data.
-
Thank u very much I will try to do it now and i will post how it went. thanks again
-
just last question to be sure. if i installed the xp after the vista I am not going to do any format for the HDD and I am not going to lose any data right?
-
There's some guides on that link I gave about installing vista first. You should consult them.
You shouldn't have to format the data already there and just partition what empty space you have.

Thanks I will try it now
