Hey everyone, i have a nice studio XPS which i love, but for one issue. i am getting some dust BEHIND the plastic/glass panel. At first it was just a few specs which i could live with, but now, more and more dust is getting behind the screen, and i have no idea HOW. There is a tiny gap on the right hand side of the screen where the glass part meets the acutal lid of the notebook, and im wondering if anyone has had a similar issue. If so... is there anyway to take off the glass part to clean behind it?? Also.. has anyone had this issue and had the screen replaced from dell? any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Also.. if someone looking for a good deal, i am thinking of selling this and have a post in the marketplace section also! thanks!!

Sounds like you need to Call Dell and if it's still under warranty they *should* fix it.

Yeah, you really shouldn't try to fix that yourself. The display assembly is treated as 1 part by Dell. They had a problem like this in the past, and they fixed the manufacturing method, but there are always some problematic ones. Give them a call and they should swap it out for you.
