Did you try blowing the dust out using a can of compressed air?

i tried everything under the sun. the only solution that worked was using this tacky rubber stuff for hanging posters. it cleans out most of it, and for what was left behind use a dry toothbruth, and finally, for the dust that refused to leave no matter what ---- black sharpie marker. i changed them to black and now they are invisible.

do not use a needle. i scratched the paint off the grill. those speaker grills are metal painted black. a sharpie marker, also fixed that needle damage.

I have that too and wondered why they made the textured surface so large for a tiny driver...it would be nice to replace those sections with something else.
