My Dell l702x came with an internal blu-ray burner made by LG. Model # BT10N, but just about any ultra slim drive should fit your laptop. I haven't swapped drives on this laptop, but I have on previous laptops. Swapping drives is pretty simple. Look up your laptop on the Dell website for step by step instructions on removing and replacing optical drives. Also check eBay or any other online retailers for a blu-ray burners. The Dell website also sells blu-ray burners for you laptop, but you will probably pay a premium price.

Swapping the internal out is easy, I've had mine out several times when I was doing re-pastes. There's just one screw near the primary HDD bay that releases the drive to slide out. Replace with just about any slim SATA ODD, you'll just have to swap the faceplates. That is the hardest, getting the XPS faceplate off to put on the new drive without breaking plastic snaps.

Do you happen to have a part number for the blu-ray burner? (or a link to a compatible one on say eBay?) I looked at Parts/Upgrades on Dell's site, but did not see a burner. I'd love to swap mine out.
