I installed ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter on my XPS 15, to monitor how much data I upload and download. I used the same meter on my old laptop.

To configure, one must select which Network Interfaces to monitor. On my old laptop it was simple, as only four interfaces showed in the list and I selected:

    Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
    Intel PRO/Wireless Network Connection.

On my XPS 15 there's a long list of Network Interfaces.

Which ones to I select to monitor my bandwidth/transfer usage over the Ethernet connection and WiFi? (Obviously I don't select Bluetooth or the various Loopback Interfaces, but which two do I pick?)

Here just part of the list on my XPS 15:

    Bluetooth Device
    WAN Miniport (IPv6)
    WAN Miniport (Network Monitor)
Realtek PCI e BGE Family Controller QoS Packet Scheduler
Realtek PCI e BGE Family Controller - WFP Lightweight Filter
    WAN Miniport (IP)
WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) QoS Packet Scheduler
    Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230
Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 QoS Packet Scheduler
    etc., etc.

    Thanks

ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter is a really useful free app.

Select the intel 6230 if you want to monitor wireless.

Only two. It is the one without the QoS.

No, there are more than two. As I said above, I listed only a few examples in this thread and not the entire long list.

There are at least five entries all titled starting with Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230...
