    FPS drop

    Hello,
    I have a problem. WHen I unplugg charger from my XPS M1530, my fps in game drops down. And it drops by a great amount. Is it normal?

    yes. your laptop went into power saving mode

    Screen becomes dark, but I bring it to the brigh tagain, but FPS is still low.
    Could you please tell me how do i turn off power saving mode?

    ok click on your power icon bottom right of your desktop and change it to a performance setting.

    umm if its a nVidia Card, turn off powermizer, as well as set ur power setting to Always On, might fix ur problem

    If he is running vista you cannot really just "turn off powermizer". I mean you can but I think it is a reg hack now.

    u serious o_O i just go into my control panel, go to powermizer and turn it off ._.

    dunno bout vista though..

    laptop4life i did, it now shows high performance. But still dropping. It's vista HP. Nvidia geforce 8600M GT.

    Its probably the drivers you are using then. I had the issue when my vostro still ran. Use a driver from before 174.16 and that should resolve the downclocking on battery life

    ok, Btw what are the best drivers for world of warcraft game? I read that u need to try all, but there are so many drivers...

    Try the one listed on the Dell site under the M1330, pretty good and official :)
