    Hey,

I so my old laptop finally broke down and I can start using m1330.

    I have few questions:

1.) Is the video card (8400M GS) that comes with m1330 GDDR2 or GDDR3? I have read different responses to this one, and just want to make sure.

2.) I was just browsing other forums on NBR, and I noticed few people saying m1330 processor can be updated to a new one (Penryn, I think?) since Dell notebook processors are just popped in. Is that true? I would really love that if it is!!

3.) Anyone know of any good backpack (traditional style with two shoulder strap thingys) for laptop of that size? I think my old laptop broke because I used to stuff it in with heavy books and squeeze it.

    4.) THANK YOU!!!!!!

    S.W.

You might need to wait till Dell releases a BIOS update to support the Penryn processors. Also keep in mind that you'll pretty much need to disassemble the machine to do it... it's not an easy-access thing like RAM. But you can read about it in the service manual. Also, a Penryn processor worth upgrading to will probably cost around $300-ish: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=171337&highlight=penryn
