I have a Dell D630 and the finger print reader is not working correctly. I swipe my finger and it says good swipe, then the screen goes black. I can hear the system running for a minute or two and then it shuts down. I do not remember the system password I set 3 years ago so I cannot access it that way either. I have tried my usual passwords and none work. At this time this laptop is a boat anchor. Any help would be great.
