yeah just saw them .. but im bluntly dissapointed that they are not going to release any more details now

Dell = extremely lame. Use CES as a sneak peak? COME ON! It's an expo... almost everything is a sneak peak! That doesn't mean limit the coverage.
More pics here:

I don't like the design, personally. It fits the Studio XPS line, but it just doesn't look good on these pics of the Adamo. -
FINALLY!
Hands-on:

I hate this super-glossy screen trend... but other than that it looks nice.
-
-
I'm just the opposite. I love the glossy look.
-
Check out these pics.

Let the speculation begin. Is that a 16:9 display? Any chance it will come with a slot load optical drive? Hopefully BD. -
Also, looks like there's no battery compartment - so it's integrated just like Air's or the new 17" MBP. -
Wow, that looks pretty awesome. I am glad they were able to get a hands on, otherwise Dell would have looked very foolish.
-
There are also no air vents on the bottom. I'm hoping this is very pre-production and that they will add an optical drive. Wishful thinking? -
Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Hm, not much to see here. Yup it's pretty. Yup it's alum unibody. All good I guess. But what is it?
My fave comment from egadget.
-
Those pictures look (anandtech) much better. I think the Voodoo Envy 133 looks better personally, though. Hopefully Voodoo will put a better graphics chip in it like Apple did for the Air.
Edit: Wait, is that a nonremovable battery? No thanks! -
J.R. was at the Dell event and snapped some pics of the Adamo as well

I like that site he has up on the screen. -
It's nice eye candy. Now you have to decide between the new XPS line or the Adamo. Hope the battery lasts long.
-
i may sell my T400 if this Adamo has good specs.
i really like the design. -
I don't find the Adamo particularly attractive actually. I don't find it sexy to stick all the ports in the back like that instead of just making it a little thicker.
-
what is this piec of wood board. -
I think it looks pretty sweet. It'll probably be nowhere near as powerful as the Studio XPS. Finding out the price will be interesting.
-
Is that the Dell Macbook Air competitor?
-
That's how the tech blogs are describing it but we won't really know until we find out the specs, which haven't been released yet.
Also, they should release a BattleStar Galactica special edition called Adama -
-
Style is nice. I'll take superior quality and speed first however. Hope they don't forget that part in their desire to 'look' like a leader.
-
frankly, i'm not really impressed.
-
the adamo looks the way these newr other dells laptops should look like. the new studio xps's are ugly and thick. but this adamo is lookn hot.
