I hate this super-glossy screen trend... but other than that it looks nice.

Yeah, I've already decided I'm not interested do to the high gloss screen. Might as well be a mirror.

There's no evidence of an optical drive on this one.
Also, looks like there's no battery compartment - so it's integrated just like Air's or the new 17" MBP.

Wow, that looks pretty awesome. I am glad they were able to get a hands on, otherwise Dell would have looked very foolish.

There are also no air vents on the bottom. I'm hoping this is very pre-production and that they will add an optical drive. Wishful thinking?

Those pictures look (anandtech) much better. I think the Voodoo Envy 133 looks better personally, though. Hopefully Voodoo will put a better graphics chip in it like Apple did for the Air.

Edit: Wait, is that a nonremovable battery? No thanks!

It's nice eye candy. Now you have to decide between the new XPS line or the Adamo. Hope the battery lasts long.

I don't find the Adamo particularly attractive actually. I don't find it sexy to stick all the ports in the back like that instead of just making it a little thicker.

I think it looks pretty sweet. It'll probably be nowhere near as powerful as the Studio XPS. Finding out the price will be interesting.

That's how the tech blogs are describing it but we won't really know until we find out the specs, which haven't been released yet.

Also, they should release a BattleStar Galactica special edition called Adama :)

Style is nice. I'll take superior quality and speed first however. Hope they don't forget that part in their desire to 'look' like a leader.

the adamo looks the way these newr other dells laptops should look like. the new studio xps's are ugly and thick. but this adamo is lookn hot.
