    my new xps1330 should be arriving today. Looking for setup suggestions...

    This is what I got:

    4 GB DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz (2 DIMMs)
    200 GB Free Fall Sensor Hard Drive 9.5MM (7200)
    Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 - this shouldn't get as hot as the bigger card should it?
    9 Cell Primary Battery
    XPS M1330 Laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7250 (2.0GHz/800Mhz
    FSB,>> 2MB Cache)
    Intel 4965 802.11a/g/n Dual-Band Mini Card

    for $1400

    Flash your BIOS to ver A11 to help with thermals.

    Not if you keep the thermal pad and install it before sending the laptop to warranty. ;)

    Thing is: if you do the copper modd now, there's little chance you will need the warranty for changing the mobo. If you don't do it, there's a big chance you'll need the warranty after 6-7 months.

    I did it and my laptop is a month old. I kept the thermal pad and I can always reverse the process. ;)

    Anyway, I did my laptop a huge favor. ;)

    seems like dell ****ed up my order... I think I am going Mac

    I am tired of Dell reps lying - "I sent it 2nd day air" - it came in 7 days and was shipped 3-5 day after I was charged 59 $ for second day. impossible to talk to a manager to get something done.... GOD their customer service is killing them
