I'm looking for a cheap yet decent gaming laptop and after browsing around the forums, it looks like the M1530 is for me. That being said, this is my first time buying a laptop. My computer buying experience consists of just buying parts for desktops and getting a friend to put them together.

After customizing the laptop at the Dell site, my total came out to be $1,149.00.

    I have 2 questions:

    1. Is it worth using the DPA service to pay 35 a month? Are there extra fees that are charged?

    2. Are there coupons or discounts I can use? I read somewhere that people were getting $599 (I could be wrong) and the Dell coupon section gives a coupon for XPS but when i tried it on the site, it said it wasnt valid with my product.

Thanks for any feedback yall have to offer!

Coupons depend on where you live and the product you want to buy. Just browse the internet or this forum, you'll probably find one for your xps.

I got a 300€ discount thanks to those coupons :D
This is my first laptop too btw, and it's great!
