    Foggy Patch SXPS 16?

    This is the strangest thing. There's a "foggy" patch on the back of my laptop (like the cover or whatever). I have the non-leather version and the "foggy" patch is where the leather would have been. I assumed it to be a smudge but I just tried cleaning it and nothing seems to change. The surface feels no different when I run my finger over it. Could it be underneath the coating somehow?

    Very hard to take a picture of because of the reflection and the lighting in here (just tried). But it essentially looks like any other finger smudge except it won't come off.

    Have you tried damp cloth ? If it's really unbearable, you can always ask dell for replacement

    It's not too bad. My girlfriend can feel the difference between the foggy and non-foggy bits and thinks that something on my fingers must have melted the coating (does this make sense?).
