How long did it take (from the time of your reformat) for your XPS to receive calls from LoJack. I received the laptop on 7/7, did the reformat on 7/9, but have not received a call since the initial one on 7/7. Can anyone detail their experience with this? Thanks.

Hmm, it doesn't seem to work like that for me though. I have an internet connection and I'm using the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN (driver: 11.5.0.32 from microsoft windows). Could one of my security settings be blocking the call?

Did you guys do a Low level format and establish new partitions ? I always wipe the drive of all our new dell laptops and setup custom partitions to seperate programs from data I have yet to ever receive a call. LoJack is a complete joke.

i activated lojack before i formatted, then wiped the drive clean and installed windows xp on it. i went to the lojack website, logged in, clicked the 'remove' button next to my previous activation, then downloaded the installer and installed it, then it activated and performed a test call just fine.
