That's a VERY good deal. Let's just hope it's in great condition ;)
And RAM is very easy to upgrade. Just open up the RAM compartment, take out one of the 1GB sticks and replace it with the 2GB one.
P.S. Hey fellow British Columbian! :)

okay well i just emailed him basically interrogating him about the condition and what not lol

and just wondering how would the performance of the 8400gs be for games like CS:S, CoH, BMF2? cause those are pretty much the only games i play on my notebook (and maybe Left 4 Dead later this year...but thats in the future). i currently have my e1505 with an x1400 and i can run all those games mentioned above at about medium settings with reasonable enough framerates (for me :D)

    thx :)

    CS:S should run fine.
    CoH.. medium settings maximum.
    I'm not sure what BMF2 is :p

Proceed with caution. In fact, I'd stay away from that seller. That picture he listed looks way too familiar. Potential scam. Ask for a picture of the box with his e-mail written on a piece of paper.

Yeah looks like it was too good to be true :(

The seller is apparently in the UK. Have a look:

I guess I'm probably going to end up just ordering one from dell.ca

Yeah $800 is too low for that setup, especially if it is new in box.

That e-mail also screams scam. Western Union only and the wording are typical of scammers.
