I received my 1530 laptop yesterday but i didn't receive the complimentary creative earphones, cd case or wiping cloths (i live in Canada). So i called dell and spoke with them for an hour or so. For the majority of the time, they transferred me back and forth between the sales department and the customer service department until i finally asked to speak to the manager. She said that i can not receive these accessories because i did not place my order with a sales area representative, but instead i placed it on the internet. Is there any possible way i could still receive my earphones/cloth/cd case or at least get a $50+ coupon even though i ordered on the internet?

However, even if you're in Canada I've heard of people (anywhere OUTSIDE of the US) frequently not getting accessories. -
I live in the US.
I've been calling regarding this matter for the last 3 days.
I Call Dell EPP Customer Care only to get the run around with EPP Sales.
I tried explaining that these accessories are to come in the box of the XPS machines.
However, I noticed that they look at my order details, and reitorate to me that it has to be ordered in order to get the items.
I dont know how else to approach this.
What can you guys think of saying to solve this matter? -

I'll try calling again, but can anyone help me out? What department should i talk to exactly? Each time i ask them for the accessories, they just tell me that it doesn't show on the order details and that i should have place my order with a dell sales associate. What should i say to them to convince them? I really WANT that $50 to get a new mouse =/
edit: @paper_wastage: i actually did say something like that, i said that my colleagues ordered the same laptop and they received the accessories... but they just ignored it -

keep calling... and dont stop at $50
creative headphones = $32
CD Case = $15
Microfiber cloth = $10
$55
though dont push too hard.... they may go off the line and try their hardest to get the 3 items instead of sweetalking u to get $75
call again.... my 1st CSR only promised the earbud.... second gave everything, though they sent me generic substitutes... dont really mind -
Kinda disappoints me that they stopped giving the extra accessories. A lot of the reviews I saw had shown the XPS sleeve, earbuds, leather cd case, etc. Those were selling points to many of us freebie suckers.
Now, some people won't care much for those, but these are nice "extras." It was one thing that pulled me away from the Asus which gives a nice laptop carrying bag from what I remember.
Oh well. I may try calling Dell whenever I get the laptop. I'm 99% sure I won't be getting the extras
But they did give me a 24" Ultrasharp (2408wfp) instead of the 2407wfp-hc that I selected in my bundle. Got it for $350. Quite a steal -
@paper_wastage: i was on the phone for more than an hour trying to get my accessories or at least a coupon, i talked to 5+ CSR and Sales representatives. In the end they even knew my name, they'd say "hello sir, it seems you called several times now, how may i help you?" But all they did was transfer me from department to department.
Each time i ask them why i did not receive the accessories, they just state that it is not on the order details and that i should have ordered my laptop with a sales representative as opposed to the internet. What should i say to convince them to get my coupon? i'd rather not waste another hour on the phone with no results... -
