Hey guys, I just tried to play a 13GB HD Movie Transformers, runs real sweet! Then I connected my Samsung P2470HD TFT screen (24inch) via HDMI.

Im working on the notebook screen (FireFox, Word etc) and want to watch moviesat the same time on my Samsung screen. So im using 2 screens at the same time.

But the 13gb FullHD movie runs significantly slower on the samsung screen using the 2 screens (extended) On the notebook (dell screen) tho its running fast. any idea why?

Then again, if i only use the Samsung screen, it runs fast on that too.

I wanna be able to surf, chat, write and watch movies at the same time using my 24 inch Samsung screen!

I paid 2000 euros almost for my laptop, that shoudl be possible with my specs shouldnt it? Or is it too much for the graphics card to handle 2 screens when one is plying FullHD Movies?

I use KM Player and VLC for playing MKV files.

Given the stats in your sig there is no way you should be experiencing any slowdown. I have mine connected to a 26" Vizio and I just watched a 22GB 1080p x264 of Avatar and it ran just fine on the RGB while I browsed the web simultaneously on the 26".

Check your codecs. I use CCCP with MPC.

EDIT: I just realized it might not be a codecs issue since it runs fine on your laptop alone. Might be HDMI bandwidth issue--uninstall your display/hdmi audio drivers and update them.
