    Hi guys,

some of u already know about the BSOD problem of my laptop. finally i got dell to replace the GPU. so they took my system and return it today as i have finished my base warranty. but surprisingly i have found that they have replaced a more faulty GPU. i can't even run my machine for 15mnts. it starts giving me BSOD. now i can't take patient to talk to them as it is night here.

guys, advice me what shall i tell to those stupid engineer. will they replace GPU to higher one, i mean greater than 8600 which one i have and which one could b compatible with my system? advice me guys. i feel so angry to them cuz they took the machine 6th of Jan and suppose to return 12th. but they returned it today 25th with most faulty GPU.

contact dell through customer support and tell them you want to do a system exchange for xps 1640 or get your money back imo. that usually gets the ball rolling in the right direction unless of course you are dead set on keeping the m1530 (not best option imo)

I don't think you can ask for them to replace your GPU to a higher one, because the chassis of the XPS M1530 was built with the 8600m graphics in mind. Unfortunately, I believe that is the only compatible card. It's sad, but Dell pulled a fast, shameful, and unprofessional one on all the people that bought this system (including me). The m1530 laptop will be forever plagued with GPU problems as the 8600m is the faultiest piece of crap card out there (in addition with a few others). What I can advise you is to call them and tell them that your problem still persists. They should take it back for free because they never fixed it in the first place, if you're already having problems again. I'm just as angry as you man....
