I don't think I'm having a heat problem, but need some advise.
When I surfing the internet, having maybe 6 or 7 tabs open, my wifi running, bluetooth running, and a IM program, my GPU temps are running anywhere from 57c to 68c, when it reaches 67c can hear my fan speed up and watch as the temps begin to reduce back to around 58c or 57c. Is this within the acceptable range or should I be concerned? I rarely play any third party games, so don't know how high the heat levels could get. Appreciate any comments.

    what laptop you using ?
these are high temps for idling, but no big thing as most gpu can go beyond 100c.

i think i read dell released some new bios or something to make sure the fan kick in earlier, i am sure soon enough dell users will be able to point you to it.

just make sure you keep your vents unblocked & dust free and you are good.

Same as mine. The fans seem to come on pretty early and go off about 57C. Bare in mind when I'm playing games my GPU rarely hits 80C so it never gets too hot.
