    the xps 17 carries GDDR3.

    I think its 192 bit, but only DDR3 not GDDR3

    Based on reports from Dell reps, and the official specs, it's regular 128 bit DDR3. However, nobody with an actual XPS 17 has yet to post results from running GPU-Z.
