Hi I'm thinking of either getting the Dell XPS 17 or the Dell XPS 15 and i can't make my mind up.

I want a laptop with a powerful CPU For 3d max witch they both have and a decent capable of gaming Graphics card. But also a computer that has good battery life

These laptops have been the one that I've focused on but tell me if you know of any that could better suit me, I already spoke to someone on the Dell chat about the Dell XPS 17" and they were very helpful but only wanted me to buy it straight away. so if you guys could please give me some info on these questions.

1.Battery life for, movies, word processing, gaming, CAD?

2.GTX 260m (witch is what i currently have on my Asus g60vx) vs GT 540m vs GT 555m

3 If you personal have one of these computers could you tell me what its like and give it a rating out of 10

Thanks and I'm sure this post will help other people as well.
