Ok something I have noticed that is somewhat wierd, but pretty cool as well. When I output games through the HDMI they seem to run better than if I am playing them just off the laptops screen.

Case in point. The game tends to chug randomly on l4d for no apparent reason some times even at 1024x768. Now I output it to hdmi run it off an lcd tv and I can do 1920x1080 with settings on high with zero performance hit.

I have yet to determine a reason for this.
