I'm getting my motherboard replaced in a few days by an on site technician ... so they will replace my gpu correct? Will replacing the mobo solve this problem I am having when I move the laptop's screen? : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=291915 ?

I also requested the intel AGN wifi card to be replaced because I am having this problem where sometimes (happens randomly) when I am downloading something off the internet and it freezes the entire computer for 3-5 secs, then and shuts off the network connection during the download transfer. The only way I can get a working network again is to shut down the computer and restart. Even when I shut down the computer it doesn't shut down, it just shuts off the screen and freezes, I can still hear the system and fans running.

I don't know if it will fix the problem. But I had a Gateway with the same problem. When you moved the LCD, the video would go black. It was a bad on-board video chipset. Replacing the motherboard fixed it.

As for the other part to your question, the video card is integrated into the motherboard. So when they replace the motherboard, they are also replacing the video card.

Good news! The technician said that the wiring on the usb wiring looked like they were out of placed, that's what caused the usb message to keep popping up when I moved the screen. He fixed it and now the usb message never shows up anymore. As for the wifi freezing up while downloading, he replaced it with a new wifi card and hasn't been freezing up. Dell's on site service is great! I also got a new replacement battery and new heatsink.

Did you noticed the difference on the old and your new heatsink? i think the heatsink that they placed before was not good enoughm hence the overheating problems of 1530...
