This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just got off the phone with Dell. They are replacing my 1710 with either a 1640/1645. They said it will take 3-4 wks. Will they send me a config to approve before this happens? I guess it really doesn't matter as just about any version is an upgrade to my old 1710. The wait begins.
