    Hello everyone,

I've configured new XPS 15 today with the following specification,

    Processor: 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i3-2330M processor 2.20 GHz
    Display: 15.6" (39.6cm) FHD (1920x1080) B+RGLED display with TrueLife™
    Ram: 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM (1 x 4GB)
    HDD: 500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
    GPU: 1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 525M graphics with Optimus
    Battery: 6 cell.

    Finally it accounts for Rs.53,012

After talking long time to Sales rep, i was able to get only 2% discount on the above model. This is my 2nd purchase from Dell since my last XPS M1530 (Lying Dead at the moment)

Availing 2% discount finally it accounts for Rs.51,952

is it worth? i will be ordering this system in next week.
should i go along with this one?

Im unable to get any corporate discount since i work as lecturer at Engineering college.

Here in India cant even use the dell discount coupons :(

Is it possible to get discounts any further?

    Suggestions will be apperciated.

    Thank you.

Standard 1 year warranty? No way you can get discounts through your college? I would look that up.

    Thank you for your reply,

Yes standard 1 year warranty, coz i aint have much savings left with me.
else i've to wait for few months for my savings.

nope i cant get any more discount coz my engineering college doesnt comes under corporate sector.

Im sending my dead XPS M 1530 to dell recycling, i will be getting only Rs.1000 discount vocher from Dell recycle for my next purchase. i have given pick up date for my dead XPS M1530 on 29.10.2011. I got 2 more weeks to wait.

any other ways i can bargain? India Sales Rep are kinda hard to bargain.

Tsunade_Hime can i go with the above purchase?
