so basically my 1330m runs really hot even idling, so i am getting a completely new one shipped to me and i have to send my old one in, however, is the one i will be getting actually new or is if refurbished. I forgot to ask the rep that, and its sunday tomorrow so i cant.

and from experience what are my chances that the replacement will be any better?

you have a very small chance of getting a new unit, but they mostly send out refurbs, anyways, if you are unsatisfied with the new one they send in, you can always send it back for another :D
