    See Les' guide for getting the best deal with any Dell purchase. You can do a forum search either through the boards or through google.

    Wait until they have a really good coupon, and get an EPP discount on top of it.

    Also, might want to check eBay or some FS/T sections on this and other message boards and see if you can get some Dell gift certificates or money off codes. You can usully get them at 80% of face value...so this will save you some money.

    How can I get an Employee discount if I am not an employee?
    I checked for Les's guide and only found one for doing a clean install, couldnt find one for getting a good price.

    EPP's are not only for Dell employees but also for companies that use Dell pc's. So, if you work, there is a good chance that if your work PC is a Dell, you get some sort of discout through them. Check with your benefits/hr person. If you are in school, there are also discounts for universities and college students too. Do some research, most likely you have a discount, you just don't know it. Once you get your discount code, visit: www.dell.com/epp
