Not looking for a bag but rather a tight, slim-fitting sleeve that will allow me to toss the lappy in a bag.

    Open to neoprene or leather.

    Thanks.

I have used the Snugg Surface 3 Pro sleeve. A few other people with the new XPS 13 (9343) have had lots of success with it.

Great fit for the XPS 13. Comes in many different colors of leather. Magnetic flap latch. Has small pocket for business cards, and an external pocket for a small paper notebook.

When I go into business meetings wanting to travel light, I just bring my laptop, notebook, business cards, and pen. This sleeve is awesome.

For that price this obviously is a fake leather, no?
A little more corporate looking that what I am looking for but thanks for the post!

Yup. Fake leather. You're not going to find real leather on an item like that for less than $80 or so.

Otherwise, look for sleeves intended to fit the Microsoft Surface 3. That device is about the same size as an XPS 13. And it will be a lot easier to search for sleeves designed for the surface 3, since there were so many laptop models with different shapes / sizes that all were called the "XPS 13"

Seems like a nice sleeve linked up there. For some strange reason Dell doesnt sell the official sleeve in Denmark... no idea why. Anywhere else you can buy it?

    FYI-I bought the Snugg.
Granted it only ran me 20 bucks but I would not recommend this to anyone.
There quite a bit of extra room on the sides and the whole thing just looks and feel very bulky.

I've got this one in the Amazon cart, doesn't look as robust as the Surface one but for $12 it may be worth a try.

Yeah, I bought the Snugg SP3 case (£15 on Amazon UK: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M31BPOY) and think it's great. I'm not sure about the "extra room at the sides" - I found it was a very tight fit at first, but it's loosening up a bit now after about a week of use, I'd say it's an almost perfect fit, if anything it could do with being 0.5mm taller and/or thicker!

Also, the listing makes it very clear (IMHO) that it's "fake" leather - PU leather is what this stuff is known as, and they do mention that's that multiple times on the listing, so I know I knew exactly what I was getting before I ordered.

I headed to my local Microsoft store and they had this one ( Maroo) for the SP3. It fits the Dell like a glove and I am a big fan, Just thought I'd share my findings. It was $40 but figured it was worth it and so far I haven't been disappointed.
