    Hey guys, having some slight problem with my 1 month old Dell XPS 15. I've added a few picture examples with this thread as well. The main problem is on the Dell Dock, everytime I scroll over things I get these black lines on either side of the icon. When I'm online and have to scroll through a list I'm getting an interesting blocky effect where the mouse rolls over through the list. When I'm playing video I'm sometimes getting some screen-tearing toward the start of any video I play. Lastly, sometimes when I right click on my desktop or I'm online and I get a menu (or a floating menu box), the menu box blinks intermittently. I'm not sure what the problem is, at first I thought it was some kind of virus or malware that could be doing this so I used McAfee, Malwarebytes, and SUPERAntiSpyware to check my computer but besides some adware my scans didn't detect any viruses. Now I'm thinking it could be my graphics card or graphics card driver that's messed up. Can someone give me some input please? Thanks!

    Have you tried reinstalling your GPU drivers?

    If you do that and it still does not work, reseat RAM/HDD.

    I'm new to PC's. Can you explain how to do that? I know where to uninstall the GPU driver (device manager right?) but I'm not sure where to go to install it again. Thanks!

    OK, I haven't tried it yet but now that I did go to uninstall the driver my device manager window is blinking.

    Go to support.dell.com and punch in your service tag and download the driver from there. Or you can try Nvidia's official driver but it will not always work.

    dvillamizar;

    I am also experiencing serious screen tearing (didn't know it was called this, tried to explain in another thread with no luck). I've reinstalled the drivers, upgraded the BIOS, and fiddled with a number of video software settings - does anyone else have any ideas of how I can resolve this issue, or what might be causing the problem?
