    Hi all,

    Anybody out there playing/played Dirt 3 on their XPS?? I'm getting sporadic but noticeable frame rate drop on certain tracks. The specs of my L502X are;

    i7 2630QM
    GT540M
    8GB DDR3 1333MHz

    It is more noticeable on some tracks than others and seems to occur at random for a few seconds. It doesn't matter what in game gfx settings I run (including AA or Vsync on/off) or whether I'm using factory or overclocked settings on my gpu. I'm typically running medium settings with 2xMSA with a benchmark average of 59fps with a minimum of 48fps. I was under the impression that these framerates were well within playable parameters and shouldn't result in any noticeable slowdown but this issue is driving me nuts. I'm also using the latest NVidia driver (think its 280.26 or something like that). Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
