    HD 4670 - Which driver?

    I currently have the default driver which is 8.612. Looking at the ATI, there is a new catalyst suite that came out a few days ago, version 9.8 for the 4000 mobility series. Should I download that, or should I just go for the one listed on the dell site? Which one performs better? Thanks!

    Why do we need Mobility Modder when ATI has released drivers for our GPU already?

    Because they're desktop GPU drivers. Like for the 4670.
    Desktop Version:
    ATi Radeon HD4670
    Mobile:
    ATi Mobility Radeon HD4670

    And theres different drivers because they are different cards. But since it takes so long for ATi/manufacturers to release the Mobility versions you just dl the desktop version and the tool mods it to be mobile.

    i see. but since ati already released 9.8 for mobility, i don't get the point why should we use mod tool anyway..

    The official 9.8 mobility drivers for Radeon HD 4000 series are Windows 7 only so if you use Vista you need to use the modder.
