I've been searching the archives and i know this has been asked many times, but when i connect my hdmi to the tv picture is fine, except no audio. The problem is that i don't have the HDMI audio driver popping up so i can't choose HDMI audio. Anybody? Help?

The HDMI on the M1330 doesn't support audio like most laptops.

    NOT TRUE.

    To enable HDMI audio.

Right Click on the Speaker on the bottom right corner and click on Playback Devices and click on HDMI enable as default and click ok. You might need to reopen the movie players or the program your trying to watch.

PLEASE do not post info if you don't actually know the answer.

Because the m1330 HDMI out most certainly supports audio.

Follow the instructions given, but be sure to completely close
the player being used - or if this doesn't work, log off and back on.

    Or reboot if necessary

The icon should be there. Try re-installing the Audio drivers again. Try getting the latest ones from Dell's website.
